Tim Pearson arrived at the Makeup Industry via an unusual path - he worked with Drag Artists and Performers in his home state of Alabama, learning how to do thoroughly transformative makeup, fabricate custom wardrobe for performers, wig styling, advanced airbrush techniques, and light FX like sculpting wounds and gore. Finding his possibilities for growth limited in Alabama early in his career, Tim relocated to one of the only places he knew would not limit his potential; New York City. As a completely self-taught artist with only his experience, drive and creativity to rely on, he quickly found his place with the elite in the Fashion world of New York. With a mind to create what he couldn’t find, Tim has designed a wide variety of body painting creations, wildly artistic editorial looks, and has even learned to construct false lashes out of unconventional materials; a painstaking and precise process that few artists take time to do. Tim began his journey thinking outside of the box because he had to, but continues to think outside of the box because it’s just a better place.

Tim has worked in NYC’s Fashion Industry since 2007, with world-reknowned Makeup Artists such as Kabuki, James Kaliardos, and Charlotte Tilbury.  His designer support includes Diane Von Furstenberg, Alexander McQueen, Bill Blass, Stella McCartney, Victoria Beckham, Tommy Hilfiger and dozens more. Theatre credits include Cirque Du Soleil:  Totem, providing a progressive body painting experience for the attendees of the NYC premier; several occasions working with the Broadway Bares franchise - an organization working to raise money for Broadway Cares; Equity Fights AIDS, and FELA!. His artistry has also been featured twice as a part of  Cyndi Lauper’s Home For the Holidays Special. Photographer collaboration includes Scott Hugh-Mitchell, Dan Lecca, Daniel Rosenthal and Joe Ferrucci. Tim has enjoyed several television experiences, such as the Bravo show Blood, Sweat, and Heels and PBS: The History Makers - An Evening with Ursula Burns. Having been a part NYFW for many years, the hustle of a vibrant and expanding industry is a familiar and comfortable pace.

In an extensive body of work, Tim has accrued a lengthy list of accomplishments that have included feature stories for Creem Magazine, Michael Alig for the cover of Crom Magazine, features in Fashion Q&A, 6 Degrees Magazine, as well as a designer story for Harbison on Amazon.com, and a look book for Monique L’Huillier.

Currently, Tim is a Specialized Instructor for Advanced Techniques at CHICStudios in New York City and is licensed by the State of New York, educating students in makeup for Film and Runway, and continuing a successful story in the Fashion Industry.
